Ikebana Exhibit

For the past ten + years the Conservatory has invited the Mercer Island Branch of the Sogetsu Ikebana school to demonstrate and display their flower arrangements in the Seasonal house.The flower arrangements are artfully incorporated into our fall mum display and remain in place for a period of two weeks. the arrangements are refreshed (re-done) after the first week.

*Sogetsu Mercer Island Branch is a non-profit group established in 1990. Their mission is to promote ikebana by showcasing their works to the public in order to generate interest in this art form. They regularly hold exhibitions and events throughout the Greater Seattle Area.
