Music Under the Stars

Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy a casual evening of classical music in the open air. At 7:15pm, there’s a live performance by the Leou Duo, finalists in the 2016 KING-FM Young Artist Award competition. Then at 8:00pm, listen to KING-FMs broadcast of tonight’s Seattle Chamber Music Festival concert, streamed live from Benaroya Hall. Last summer, up to 1,000 people enjoyed each of the Music Under the Stars Events in Volunteer Park. Come hear for yourself!

It’s called MUSIC UNDER THE STARS, and it’s been one of Seattle’s best-loved summer traditions for over 20 years

The Volunteer Park events take place at the Amphitheatre, across from the Asian Art Museum.

Each evening begins at 7:15pm with a live performance by an outstanding student ensemble.

At 8:00pm, the evening continues with the live KING-FM broadcast, direct from Benaroya Hall.

Last summer, up to 1,000 people came out to Volunteer Park for each of these Music Under the Stars Events. It’s a very casual and sociable atmosphere, with people chatting, eating and coming-and-going as they please. So this summer, come out to Volunteer Park and hear for yourself!

Volunteer Park Conservatory will be open until 7:00 PM on all performance Wednesdays in July!
