Jungle Bugs will be invading the Conservatory July 26th!

Join artist James Vitale and friends for the opening of JUNGLE BUGS, an exhibition of whimsical sculptural pieces, Thursday July 26th from 5 to 9pm.

The exhibit will be on display in the Conservatory’s Palm House through Sunday August 12th.

Artist and Environmental Advocate James Vitale promotes discussion about environmental responsibility in our public and private gardens through his work. His assemblage of sculptural “insects” on display will delight visitors young and old alike, while helping to highlight the Conservatory’s “Integrated Pest Management” techniques to manage insects that injure plants in the collections.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a holistic approach to maintaining the natural order between plants, insects and other organisms in the conservatory’s ecosystem.
