The Volunteer Park Conservatory is happy to welcome Mollie Bryan to the FOC team as the new Marketing and Office Administrator. We met Mollie during her first Lusio event last summer and have since been working with her on The Sylvan Series events at the conservatory. Mollie is a multifaceted artist, curator, gallery owner and events producer with 10+ years of experience in the arts, marketing and customer relations. We sat down and asked Mollie a few questions about her work and her future plans for the conservatory.
FOC: “What made you interested in joining the Friends of the Conservatory?”
Mollie: “Since I was approached by Anthonio during Lusio last summer, I’ve had the chance to work with the FOC team multiple times over the last 6 month. I was immediately a bit enamored with the team as they are all just so lovely and supportive. And of course I fell in love with the conservatory itself. How could you not? Pretty soon after our first Sylvan event together, their mission to promote and bring awareness to the conservatory become my own as well as my artists.
FOC: “What are a few goals you’re hoping to accomplish now that you’ve officially joined the FOC?”
Mollie: “The ultimate goal is to bring more awareness to this beautiful gem and I believe I can help accomplish that through increased social media campaigns, engaging Seattle with more public events, and providing a voice for the conservatory. I would love to see see our number of memberships double by the end of 2017!”
FOC: ” What’s your favorite part about the Volunteer Park Conservatory?”
Mollie: “The smells and ever changing beauty. Every day there is some new bud or blossom to experience”
