Valentine’s fun at the VPC

Looking for something fun to do for your Valentine’s Day? The Friends of the Conservatory have created two fantastic fundraising events inspired by the love of plants!

Join us for a Valentine’s Day Floral Class on Saturday, Feb. 9th for a hands-on workshop which will offer your choice of learning how to make a flower arrangement or a beautiful flower crown, from flowers grown by local farmers.

Students will have the option of creating a medium-sized bouquet arrangement (10–18 stems) OR a floral crown.
Flowers will be locally sourced, with some coming from the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market, a local, farmer-owned cooperative.

Saturday February 9, 2019
12pm-3pm (3 hours)
$45 General Admission
$35 for Friends of the Conservatory Members

And then come back for an intimate concert on Valentine’s Day!

Friends of the Conservatory is teaming up with Sub Rosa to bring you live music in the Seasonal House. Warm air, lush plants, twinkling lights, and sweet melodies! Light hors d’oeuvres and desserts are included in ticket price.

Some seating available—first come first served. Come early to grab a drink and wander the Conservatory before the show begins. There will be an intermission between artists to refill drinks and plates, and to soak in the lush greens. Artists will be available for mingling and selling merch after their performance, so stick around if you want to chat! All merch sales will directly benefit the artists.
Advance tickets only; no at-the-door sales.
Doors open at 7 pm
Show starts at 8 pm
$50 General Public
