You'll find a large selection of indoor plants (including shade-lovers, part-sun, full-sun), cacti, succulents, and more, plus VPC merch, books, and treasures from the Palm House Gift Shop.

You’ll have a choice of pet-friendly, non-toxic plants, low-maintenance entry-level plants for beginners, and special offerings for the experienced plant caregiver.
Stop by to adopt a new plant or two to refresh your terrariums and indoor spaces. Meet fellow plant enthusiasts, chat with FOC Board Members, staff, and volunteers, and help support the Friends of the Conservatory at our largest fundraiser of the year.

Sara Chapman will be onsite at the May Plant Sale to sign copies of her book Flowers of Volunteer Park Conservatory and sell one-of-a-kind Conservatory jewelry.
We are so happy to have copies of Sara Chapman’s book, Flowers of Volunteer Park Conservatory, back in stock at the Palm House Gift Shop! This beautiful book is composed of photographs and plant identification of our Conservatory collection by season. This is the only book in existence dedicated solely to showcasing our marvelous living museum!
The Friends of the Conservatory has a long and wonderful relationship with Sara. She was previously our board president and an avid volunteer. Her book's foreword is written by David Helgeson, our Master Head Gardener for over 30 years.
There are very limited copies of this book, and once all 150 copies are sold - there will be no more! This is a unique gem and a perfect Mother’s Day gift!
